Lake Dillon, Dillon/Frisco, CO

Right now, Windsurfing and Kite boarding are NOT allowed on Lake Dillon. The Summit County Open Space changed the ruling in 2002. The good news is they are updating their regulations. It should be cleared up soon. A full wetsuit will be necessary in the future, as was also in the past. Thanks to Thor and Karen for bringing this to my attention. Many times I have found that sending an e-mail and getting involved, changes things in our favor! Right now it says windsurfing is allowed on the web site, but the signs at the lake prohibit it. It should change towards the end of the season, I hope!
