Cherry Creek State Park

Location:

On the SE outskirts of Denver, CO. West entrance is on Dayton Street in front of Cherry Creek High School (near the Dam Road).

Launch Site:

There is a designated "Sailboard" launch site on the west side of the lake, on the point south of the concrete picnic tables. There are signs to tell you where to turn. Grassy rigging area. Shore line is grass, rock, mud, and sand.
We usually launch ice boards in the picnic table area.

Power boats allowed. There is a wake-free zone in the southern portion of the lake.

Admission:

$6 per car. Season passes available. Colorado SP passes are good here. There is also a once-a-year pollution abatement fee for this park.
