Cold Water Classic (RMWA Race #1) Recap:
On Saturday morning, April 25, about a dozen of us gathered at Aurora Reservoir for the annual race season kick-off event. Conditions were noticeably better than last year because last year the snow was quite noticeable! No snow this time, but the air temp at noon was still only 38F degrees, and the water wasn't a whole lot warmer. But there was wind and so a few stalwart, intrepid (foolhardy) sailers decided to sail (the majority of us showed better sense and went home).
